I’m not sure where to post this one, as it is clearly not an Agency Zebra project, but still has a couple of interesting elements to it.
wordpress blog re design
This project was a quick 5 hour wordpress cutomisation for the beautiful woman in the sidebar, my fiancée.
A hobby of hers is to blog about losing weight (although she really doesn’t need to – lose weight that is ).
She was getting so bored of her blog’s previous design, a default wordpress template, that she was not updating her site anymore.
I had to help!
I used Adobe Fireworks to mock-up a design, then Firebug to change her previous site’s CSS into what you’re seeing. I only needed to upload 2 images for my new css to work, the header and the sidebar’s titles’ background.
Clearly, a layer of extra polish is missing, as I haven’t changed each element of the template I started from, nor did I do thorough testing. But i still think this design is worth showing, as it is modern, original and very simple.
The gorgeous baby featured on the youtube video happens to be my son Noa. You can see this video from here.
So this screenshot has a huge sentimental value. Not unlike office workers bringing pictures of their family to their desk, I now have some of mine on my blog!
