My devs are using Code Igniter here, and have already integrated the forum ids with the main app's. I'm just wondering if all forum members will want to sign up for the app, especially considering that the app is made for creatives, while the forum will hopefully gather people from the legal profession as well. My concern with universal login lies in security. If there's a breach somewhere, then all your accounts are compromised ! Having different logins for different sections of the same site is an inconvenience for users. I like DNN because it has a strong user control, and it is easy for separate modules to access.
